Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was satisfactory. The room, with a slight smoke odor in the bathroom, was adequate, featuring essential amenities like air conditioning. The housekeeping staff was accommodating. However, the poor Wi-Fi reception was a drawback. The room felt like a small apartment with a convenient kitchenette, living room, and separate en-suite bedroom.
The hotel is a mixed bag, with clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, but a slightly disappointing dining experience. The location is convenient for those with their own transport, with easy access to the city center. The facilities are adequate but with room for improvement in certain areas.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable due to being newly built. However, having to pay individually for eggs at breakfast was a downside. The service was exceptional, with the staff being very friendly, helpful, and professional.
The hotel rooms were very well equipped, spacious, clean, and absolutely value for money, making it very suitable for big groups and families. However, it would have been better if they provided more than 3 bottles of water and 3 sets of cups since the room was for 6 people. The rooms were all smoking rooms located from the ground floor through to the 13th floor, split between Sky Hotels and Borneo Vista Suites.
Staying at this hotel was just what we needed - simple, comfortable rooms with all the necessary kitchen appliances. The housekeeping staff were very obliging, making it suitable for big groups and families. However, it would have been even better if they provided more water bottles, cups, and tea bags in the room for six people.
I stayed at this hotel near KK Imago shopping mall and found the rooms very nice, each with 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette, a living room, and a separate en-suite bedroom. The service was lacking in terms of training and knowledge but they could arrange great trips within Borneo. The location was convenient near the mall and city center with free parking, but lacking in comfortable sun loungers. The dining experience was not up to par, offering limited options and oily noodles. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel is very family-friendly and suitable for big groups, offering spacious 2-bedroom suites. The complimentary breakfast at the ground floor restaurant Green Table provided a good start to the day, but more water and tea bags would have been appreciated. Service was a bit slow at times, but Mr Gerard was exceptionally friendly and competent. The location was not the best but acceptable for the price. Dining options were varied, although self-service was required. Overall, a comfortable stay with positive and negative aspects.
I woke up to an amazing view of Mt Kinabalu in the morning from my well-appointed room. The room was spacious and required the room card for access to the unit on the 13th floor, where one side of the rooms faced Sky Hotels and the other side faced Borneo Vista Suites. The location wasn't ideal for families, but given the price, it wasn't too bad, especially considering its proximity to the new Imago luxury goods mall and walking distance to the waterfront. The dining experience was a letdown with minimal food options, but the scrambled eggs were decent. The hotel staff were quick to respond to an emergency situation and were friendly and attentive, particularly the guys managing the free shuttle service. The hotel had standard facilities that met my needs during the stay.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with a mini kitchen at a fair price, although the room decor is a bit outdated. The service is friendly and accommodating, especially during check-in. The location is quiet but not ideal for tourists without transportation. The dining experience varies, with good quality but limited options. Overall, a comfortable stay for the value.
Staying at Borneo Vista Suites was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were spacious and came at a nice price, featuring a separate single bed. The pool on the top floor was definitely worth a visit, and we even used it for meetings. The service was fairly courteous and helpful, although a bit slow during check-in and check-out. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the waterfront and near town, but might not be ideal for tourists without their own transport. The dining experience offered a variety of options, from a vegetarian breakfast to a selection of 'western' breakfasts. The facilities were satisfactory, making our stay comfortable.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with a kitchenette and separate en-suite bedroom, but they take a while to cool down after switching on the air-conditioners. The service is very supportive and even helped us move to a room with better reception. The location is near a big street and the waterfront, which was nice but not ideal without personal transport. The dining experience had lots of choices, although the options were a bit off-center. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory.
Staying on the 13th floor where rooms are like small apartments was a great experience. The spacious layout with a kitchenette, living room, and separate bedroom made it feel like a home away from home. However, the noise from the street was a bit noticeable at times.
Despite the terrible stank of smoke in the rooms, my stay was enjoyable thanks to the modern and really clean accommodations. The hotel was suitable for my meetings and offered individual eggs at breakfast, which was a nice touch.
The hotel is suitable for small families who enjoy cooking, offering complete amenities and free high-speed wifi. It's located on the 13th floor, with rooms facing either Sky Hotels or Borneo Vista Suites. However, the wifi reception in the rooms was not good.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were modern and really clean, suitable for big groups or families. However, I wish they had provided more water, cups, and tea bags considering the room accommodated 6 people. The service was exceptional, with the staff being exceptionally friendly, quick to address any issues like a leak in the kitchen, and efficient in handling emergency situations. The location, while not the best, was convenient, with easy access to the waterfront and not far from the airport and shopping mall. The dining experience offered a vegetarian breakfast with limited choices, which was fine for me. The facilities were good, but there was room for improvement in terms of amenities and offerings.
